How to Relax in a Limo
Your prom night is probably the first chance you have ever had to ride in a limousine and so you may be understandably nervous about the ride. Put that on top of the nerves about whether your dress will split or you’ll spill dinner on your tux, plus the nerves about whether you’ll remember your dance lessons when you need them most, and whether you’ll have anything to say to your date, you may be a bit of a wreck leading up to what is supposed to be one of the most exciting nights of your life.
Well take a deep breath and relax because we have a few tips to help you relax in your prom limousine and enjoy the ride. Firstly – you don’t have to do anything, your chauffeur will take care of it all. This means you don’t have to worry about rushing to open the door for your date, wondering where the ‘champagne’ is or how to work the sound system because your chauffeur will be there to do it all, and walk you through the night.
Now you know all that’s expected of you is to have fun, treat the ride like any other trip with your friends, and it wouldn’t hurt to throw out a few compliments on hair, outfits and corsages here too.
If everyone is still a bit nervous because of their fancy clothes and their fancy ride, have your chauffeur switch from the romantic mood music he may have been playing, to something which will get everyone in the party mood. Music will also help those awkward silences seem a little less obvious.
If you’re still worried, when you go and check out the size and quality of your prom limousine, take your date and all of your friends who will be riding in the limousine with you. You’ll all have a chance to sit in the limousine and get a feel for it, and this means that on prom night it’s not a completely new and scary experience.
